About RioCali Tours
RioCali Tours was born from a deep-rooted love for the stunning beauty of Angra dos Reis and Ilha Grande. Launched in December 2025, we are a family-owned yacht charter company dedicated to showcasing the Brazilian coast through a lens of luxury and genuine hospitality.
Our founder grew up swimming in the emerald waters of Angra dos Reis, eventually leaving his hometown to pursue life abroad. Years later, he returned with his wife, eager to show her the place of his youth.
Watching her fall in love with the region, and seeing the joy it brought to friends he hosted over the years, brought a renewed appreciation for his hometown.
However, during these visits, he noticed a gap in the local market. While the beauty of the region was world-class, the tours often felt crowded, rushed, or lacking in refinement. He realized that a place this special deserved a more sophisticated, stress-free approach.
"I wanted to create a way for guests to feel the same deep connection I have to these waters, without compromising on comfort or privacy."
Driven by this vision, he decided to turn his personal passion into a professional standard. He founded RioCali Tours to bridge that gap, taking the logistical stress out of the equation so guests can focus entirely on simply enjoying the moment.

A third-generation mariner, João Oliveira grew up around the water in Angra dos Reis, learning the coastline through years of hands-on experience with his family.
As a master navigator, João’s priority is a smooth, comfortable ride. His deep knowledge of the coastline allows him to anticipate the tides and the crowds; he knows exactly when to arrive at popular beaches and can curate a custom itinerary tailored specifically to your occasion.
With João at the helm, you are in the hands of a professional who balances technical skill with an intimate passion for the region.
